Location
We are based in Yopal, capital city of the Eastern Colombian department of Casanare and one of the gateways to the Llanos prairies. With a population of 150,000, Yopal is Casanare's biggest city and has an airport, various shopping centers, hospitals, parks, universities and all amenities.

from Bogota Avianca, LAN and EasyFly all fly directly fly from Bogotá to Yopal Aeropuerto El Alcaravan (EYP) - duration approx. 1 hr. from Bucaramanga EasyFly operates direct flights between Yopal and Bucaramanga. |
By road / bus
via Sogomosa / Tunja Through the Andean highlands via Sogamoso (North from Bogotá or from Boyacá / Santander). This is our personal favourite as you will travel through various sceneries and climate zones and pass beautiful towns and sights (read our recommended itinerary) via Villavicencio Through the plains via Villavicencio (South from Bogotá). This is one of Colombia's best routes, smooth and paved throughout, less curves and your choice if you want to avoid the rougher mountain roads. |
