Wildlife Safari (Day Tour from Yopal)

3/29/2017

Picture
This is the ideal tour to experience some of the Llanos' most exciting fauna in a day.
Only 2 hours from Yopal, we traverse savannas dotted with lagoons and streams in a 4x4 vehicle. Interrupted by short explorations on foot, this tour is ideal for photo safaris. Large groups of hardly shy capybaras, the feeding of spectacled caimans, sighting deer and wild pigs as well as interesting Llanos birdlife and red-footed tortoises make for great photo motifs. Throw in ranch life, the odd cowboy, cattle herds, horses and a beautiful sunset and you'll get the picture.
